Dr. Rama Krsna received his dental degree from the National University Of Malaysia in 2004.

His experience in Dentistry includes a 3-year service with the Ministry of Health, before joining as a lecturer at University Kebangsaan Malaysia.

Upon completing his specialization in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the University Of Hong Kong where he obtained a distinction in his Masters in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr Rama went on to pass the membership exam from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2009.

Subsequently, Dr. Rama completed his bachelor’s in medicine and Bachelor in Surgery (MBBS) in University Malaya and completed his housemanship in 2015.

He is currently registered both under the Malaysian Medical Council and Malaysian Dental Council.

Dr.Rama practices the full scope of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery speciality from surgical removal of wisdom teeth and difficult extractions as well as managing patients with medical problems in dentistry.

His main interest is the correction of paediatric craniofacial deformities and dentofacial deformities and craniofacial airway. He also heads the craniofacial and orthognathic division at Pusat Perubatan UKM.

Dr Rama is also the current Head of Programme for the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery master’s Programme at UKM.
